The German Marshall Fund of the United States (GMF) is a non-partisan policy organization working on issues critical to transatlantic interests in the 21st century, including the future of democracy, security, geopolitics, and technology. The Alliance for Securing Democracy "develops comprehensive strategies to deter, defend against, and raise the costs on autocratic efforts to undermine and interfere in democratic institutions".
Laura Thornton will be based in GMF’s Washington, DC headquarters.
